Rose Glen Literary Festival was named to honor the history and legacy of Rose Glen Plantation. Thanks to a generous gift by the late Reese Marshall Ripatti who donated 67 acres , Walters State Community College, Sevier County Campus, is located on a portion of the storied plantation. The Rose Glen Literary Festival was held there from 2010 to 2013.
