Broadway entrance of the Frist Art Museum

The Frist Art Museum is housed in the city's former main post office built in 1933-34.

Make art in the Martin ArtQuest Gallery.

The award-winning Martin ArtQuest Gallery is the Frist Art Museum's interactive art-making space for all ages.

The Frist gift shop features art-related merchandise and gifts, including original works by local and national artisans.

Frist Art Museum Demonbreun Street entrance

The Turner Courtyard is used for café seating, concerts, and outdoor art-making activities.

Featuring original Art Deco and stripped classicism architectural designs, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

With an exhibition schedule that brings new art every 6 to 8 weeks, there is always something new and exciting to see in the spacious galleries.

The Frist offers a variety of events including live music every Thursday and Friday night, lectures, films , and more.
